Vote People

Just for fun, I wanted to see what the popular vote is on the gender of our baby bundle. Over on the sidebar is a poll. If you need more time to determine that's cool, but we ARE finding out so the poll will only last about 6 weeks or less.

100th Post

This is my 100th post, and I have so much to share after being gone for 2 weeks. Hudson and I made a visit to McRae to visit 'Ma & 'Pa (Josh's parents). We were there for 10 days and had a wonderful time! It is so relaxing being down there. Hudson had a blast! Enjoy the pictures from our trip. When we got home...this was waiting for us in our backyard!!!

Josh and I bought this before Hudson and I left, but he got the entire thing pressure washed, stained, and put together by himself! Only reason number 2,345,646,547,658 why I love my husband so much! Hudson LOVES it! His favorites are the tire swing and trapeze bar (on the other side of the slide). He pretends it's his pirate ship, or he plays like he and Diego are saving animals and that is their tree house. So cute!

Here are the pictures from our trip to McRae.

'Pa and Hudson fishing. Hudson did not have a lot of patience to sit and wait on a fish, but he loved spending time with 'Pa!

Holding someone else's fish. :-)

Hudson and Peter at Todd and Star's surprise party!

Todd catching Hudson. He was only brave because he wanted to do what Peter could do. Peter knows how to swim though. :-)

Hudson and 'Pa riding "Red."

'Pa and Hudson did karate, and Hudson thought it was soooo funny!

White Water

Josh had today off, and we spent the day together at White Water. We haven't taken Hudson since he was about 11 months old. He loved it. He played and splashed all day, and now he's napping. Here are a few pictures from our day.

In and Out

When you DON'T want to be at the doctor you're there for what feels like forever! Today, I wanted to be there because they were "supposed" to do another sonogram, and I was in and out so fast it would have made your head spin. So, no sonogram was done to see if the hemmorhage is still there. My doctor said that as long as we could hear a heartbeat everything was fine, and we did hear a heartbeat. :-) He said I may still have a small hemmorhage, but it could just be from the baby growing and everything stretching. So, we'll have to wait until around 20 weeks for another sonogram, but won't that one be fun? :-)

I am almost 11 weeks (Wednesday) and I still feel the same. I get queasy about 8:30 or so every evening, but I haven't been sick at all like I was with Hudson. I have a lot of heartburn (at least that's what I think it is) with this one. I've never had heartburn before, but it feels like a lump in my throat that I have to breathe around.

That's all on baby #2 so far. Can't wait to start to feel movement and hiccups. :-)

Creating Traditions

The day Josh and I found out that Hudson was a boy we also left for a week long spring break vacation to Sandestin. While we were down there we drove to Destin Commons and did a little shopping. We went to Build A Bear and built Hudson a bear (complete with a fireman suit) from us to him. He calls his bear, Bear. :-) We were down there again recently and took Hudson to the same Build A Bear store, and let him build a bear for the new baby. We don't yet know whether it's a boy or girl (so we didn't buy any clothes). Hudson picked everything out, and he did a great job building the bear. Instead of a music box he put a heart beat sound inside, so when you squeeze the bear it sounds like a beating heart...thump thump....thump thump. He then stuffed the bear, fluffed the bear, and named the bear...ZEKE. Here is Hudson with his bear and the new bear for baby. The baby's bear is the one with glasses. We bought those instead of clothes.
