Hudson's 6th Birthday

I haven't blogged in a long time. My droid was so much easier to blog from than my iPhone. This app doesn't put my pictures in order and that is frustrating. So, I haven't blogged as much.

Here are pictures (in random order) from Hudson's 6th birthday party. I cannot believe he is turning 6 on Wednesday! We had a very fun day celebrating him.

He loves:
-his brother
-playing outside
-riding the bus

He hates:
-flip flops
-chocolate milk
-getting in trouble

He is a great kid with a sensitive and sweet heart. I love him more than the beach. :)

He ADORES his daddy!

Kendan woke up from his nap repeating over and over that he wanted to go outside and ride his firetruck like his daddy.  However, by the time I got the camera rolling, he needed a little prompting.  :)  Still sweet.  He loves his daddy.

Hello Kindergarten!

Hudson officially finished Pre-K last week. He had his moving up ceremony. It was so special. His teachers are amazing, and they made his Pre-K year so wonderful! He has learned so much! I love the side by side picture of his 1st and last days of Pre-K.

It is crazy to think I have a Kindergartner! How did he get so big so fast?

Easter Egg Hunt

Hudson had an Easter egg hunt at school today. They are so sweet and let Kendan participate too. Kendan thinks he's a part of the class. :) It was a fun egg hunt that lasted all of 2 minutes. Those kids had the eggs cleaned off that playground so fast! Kendan grabbed 4 eggs and then handed me his basket to go play on the slide. :)

Disney on Ice

We took the kids to see Disney on Ice last night, and it was awesome! They all loved it, and the lighting made it very hard to get good pictures. Here are a few.

The Incredibles.

Peter Pan and the lost boys.

Rafiki from the Lion King.

Pumba & Timon.

Two happy kiddos.

Awana Pinewood Derby Race

Hudson has been enjoying Awana this year at our neighbor's church. He participated in the Pinewood Derby races, and did well! His car wasn't fast, but he did win a trophy! They gave 3 trophies to the 3 fastest cars, and they had judges come and pick the top 3 cars for design. Hudson's firetruck derby car got 2nd place in Design! He was so excited! :) It was a really fun morning!

So excited to win a trophy...he calls it his champion. :)

Showing off his trophy and car.

All 6 trophy winners. (3 fastest on the left, and 3 design winners on right)

Kendan turns 2!

This post is LONG overdue. I've tried to upload these pictures several times, and have not been successful. So here goes. :) This year for Kendan's birthday we had a Crayola Art party.

We had everything decorated in rainbow colors, and the kids had lots of fun art activities to do. We had a play-doh table, a chalk table, dyed noodles for the kids to make noodle necklaces, and a painting table where we got their hand print on a canvas. They were then able to take these home as a keepsake. :)

For snacks we had rainbow popcorn, pretzel sticks with white chocolate and rainbow sprinkles, rainbow swirl lollipops, and rainbow Jello cups as the "cake." The kids enjoyed it! It was a wonderfully fun party, and my sweet personal photographer was there to capture the day for me! If you haven't stopped by Marian David Photography's should. She's quite talented!

Community Day

Friday was Community Day at Hudson's school. They earned Pre-K dollars in the weeks leading up to Community Day. Then on Community Day they got their check and went to the bank to cash it. Then they could choose where to spend their money: pizza place, ice cream shop, book store, toy store, barber shop, nail salon, hospital, post office, or Home Depot. It was a lot of fun, and it was a great learning experience.

Kendan went with Josh and I to help with Hudson's class. He loved it and thought he was big!
