Hudson and I made an advent calendar and inside each envelope we came up with an activity to do counting down the days until Christmas. So we started at 25 and 1 will be Christmas eve (1 day until Christmas).
Todays activity was play with play-doh. So he rolled and cut play-doh using Christmas cookie cutters.
Kendan finally got to meet Cat. She so sweetly threw a baby shower for me when I was pregnant with him, and we hadn't been able to get our schedules to coordinate on her previous visits to Atlanta. We were so happy she and Cole were able to come visit. My kiddos were a little under the weather, and I was so tired from black Friday shopping but we were very happy for the time we got to spend with them.
These pictures show our many blessings. Wagon rides being pulled by Max (Hudson's horse) and Marty (Maddox's horse), riding Max with 'Pa while Kobe's Sarah rides Marty, 6 cousins that love each other like siblings (fussing and all), and our sweet addition this Thanksgiving...our happy baby, Kendan. We have so much to be thankful for, and this holiday season I am trying to stay focused on that and not on the "I wants..."
We started our trip with a visit to see Todd, Rachel, Abbey, and Molly. We saw their beautiful new house, and then we all went to see Nandie. After our visit there we went to Statesboro and saw Mema. She will be 90 in February! We are all in McRae now and the cousins are having a blast together. The last picture is our future pig driver. :-)
We went to Hudson's school for his Thanksgiving party today. They had so many goodies they had made, like their vests and headbands. I've attached pictures of some of my favorites! I also snapped a picture during their blessing (I couldn't resist) Also a picture of Hudson with his buddy at school, Canyon and one with his teachers, Ms. Tammy (right) and Ms. Jami (left). He loves school, and I love that he does!
Why do baseball hats make babies look like big kids. He sure is cute though. I love being his mommy! Just this week he has started crawling on his knees, pulling up, saying "bye-bye" and waving. His little fingers go to flapping as soon as you say bye-bye. Sweet boy! He loves eating real food WAY more than baby food. He is so happy and fun! He loves his big brother! At his 9 month check up he was 20.6 lbs (46%) and 29 1/2 inches (85%). He is full of personality!
Fellow Bloggers: I just purchased a Groupon for $20 and it gets me $60 worth of photo books at Blurb.com. :) I'm pretty excited! I have been wanting to have a printed copy of my blog to capture the memories for a while, and now I can make one for the last 3 years I have blogged. :) Let's just hope I can condense them down to 40 page books. So, if you're interested in the groupon just click the link below. :) Happy Blogging.

In years past I have done elegant Christmas cards. This one on Shutterfly would be a top contender for me this year. This year I have been intriqued by the retro designs like this one as well. I have some beautiful pictures of my kiddos, and I want them front and center on my card. So I also like this one! I also have always put a picture with Santa on my card, so I'm hoping that our pictures with Santa this year turn out good.
50 Free Christmas cards is an amazing deal! I cannot wait to make them! I have so many fellow bloggers...so go ahead and click to get yours too!!!!!
Shutterfly is also where I made Hudson's personalized alphabet book his first Christmas, and it turned out great! It is so fun to look back through at all the things that are pictured in that book. I love Shutterfly, and their products are super nice.
I am the wife to my very best friend and hero, Joshua, and mother to my precious children from God, Hudson and Kendan. My life is busy and blessed beyond measure. I love Jesus, and wish I was better at showing it. I love crocheting even though I'm not sure how to spell it. I love my family, Hawaii, jeeps, Welcome to Moe's, Destin, the Cosby Show, my church, watering my plants, the bird nest in my fern, my front porch swing, sweet tea, friends, good books, and a hard nap.
