We are experiencing a difficult time getting Hudson to sleep in his own room/bed. It isn't really his fault. When we moved up here from Eastman we were all three in one room together at my mom's house. He would wake up in the middle of the night, and I would (unconsciously) move him to our bed with us. I would be so asleep when I did it that the next morning I would not even remember doing it. So, when we moved to our own house last spring, we have tried to make his room really exciting, but it has not worked. Today I moved a full size mattress into his room because my mom thought maybe he was hitting the sides of his toddler bed when he would move at night. When we have gotten a little bit of a routine here with him going to bed in his own bed we then have had to travel and he ends up sleeping with us when we travel. So, when we come home we're back at square one.
I would love any creative ideas on how to get him excited about sleeping in there. I do not want to have to lay down with him for 2 hours every night to get him to sleep. He is VERY strong willed though, so any super nanny ideas probably won't work because Josh and I give up before he does. :-)
