Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We hope you had as wonderful a Christmas as we did! Hudson is so loved, and that makes for a perfect Christmas for Joshua and me! Here are a few pictures from our Christmas!
Happy Birthday Jesus! May we always remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas every year!

Christmas Eve: Christmas pajamas to wear!

Christmas morning: Santa came! How exciting!!!!

'Ma & 'Pa got Hudson this amazing fire truck! He is a real fireman just like daddy now! There is nothing greater to my 3 year old than his firefighter daddy! He wants to be just like him, and ya know, I think he picked a pretty good role model! "They don't make 'em like his daddy anymore!"

Driving his fire truck to the fire!

Then it was time to try his new bike! He can ride it, but still has some room to grow with it too.

Then to Grandmama's house to open *more* presents!

A huge train track set for his table at home! One really happy little boy!

Cat and Cole came by to visit! We were so happy we got to see them while they were in town!
Merry Christmas! Crazy to think this was Hudson's last Christmas as an only child! Next year, we will have two little boys running around tearing through wrapping paper! Thank you, Lord! We are so absolutely blessed!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...!

Thanksgiving is over, so Christmas time is officially upon us. I love this time of year! We took Hudson to see Santa today! We have taken him to Phipps every year since he was born, and this year will be the most memorable for me! He was not scared a bit, but wanted to walk up to him all by himself! He made a wish list that had a green Hot Wheels bike and a "stritchen set" (construction set) on it. That was it. He's had the same two things on his list for months now!

The beautiful set up for pictures!

Happy boy and Santa!

Going over his wish list.

Santa is laughing here because Hudson told him, "if you can't build the Hot Wheels bike in your workshop, you can just go to Wal-mart!"

Hugs for Santa!

Family picture, just a little bit more of us this year.

Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child is something we love to do. Hudson packs a box every year for a child in need. I let him pick out what he wants to go in the box at the store, and then he packs it at home. We drop them off at church, and Samaritan's Purse delivers them all over the world. It's such an easy way to make an impact in the life of a child. Here are the pictures of Hudson packing his box for a boy ages 2-4. We put in it some crayons, a coloring book, 2 puzzles, a toothbrush, toothpaste, a football, a yo-yo, some candy, and an assortment of other small toys. Last year we bought a plastic tub for the box, and I think I will do that again next year as we could not fit as much stuff in this shoe box this year. Next year we'll be packing 2 boxes though! :-)

All Done!

Our baby boy has a name!

So, I tried to make this really cute and paste a wordle in here to show you all our 2nd baby's name; however, I'm too tired tonight to be savvy and figure it out where it shows up well. :-) So, without further adieu, here's the name of baby #2!

Late...I know. :)

I was so glad we got to go Trick or Treating at the Avenue so Hudson could wear his sushi costume, because Pumpkinfest at church was rained out on Halloween. These pictures are from the Friday before Halloween at school. I didn't want to mess up his sushi costume at school, so he went as a UGA football player. He's so cute. I went as Humpty Dumpty, and my students LOVED it! We spent a few weeks on nursery rhymes earlier in the month so they were really excited about my (or Kendan's, I should say) costume.

Silly boy dancing at the Fall Festival his class had.

November 6th 'Pa & 'Ma drove up to Hudson's school to let the children have "Farm Day." It was a HUGE hit! The kids LOVED it, and Hudson is so blessed to have such wonderful grandparents! They made the trip up to the YMCA with 3 pigs, 3 lambs, 2 chickens, 1 calf, and 1 horse! They also brought cotton, soybeans, and corn. The kids really got a good idea of what kind of things farmers grow and raise! The calf is an orphan that is being bottle fed, so some of the kids got to feed the calf. THANKS 'Pa & 'Ma!!!!!

Halloween begins

We had a nice Saturday together yesterday. We cleaned house (yay!) and then carved our pumpkin we got at Burt's Farm. We then took Hudson trick or treating at The West Cobb Avenue. We have gone every year since he was 1, and we love it! The stores all have tons of candy they give out. They take a complimentary picture with a fall back drop that you get to take home for free! There are craft stations set up all the way around for the kids to make things. They have face painting and balloon animals as well! It is so much fun! And we get to dress him up twice because it's usually the weekend before Halloween. Here are the pictures.

The masterpiece!

The picture Josh got at the picture set up at The Avenue. The picture they took turned out SO good! I love it, and I love my little sushi roll!

What a week-end!

Disney on Ice on Thursday with Daddy, Uncle Jerrod, & Maddox!
Mickey & Minnie!

My two most favorites waiting on the parade at the Apple Festival in Ellijay.

Our drive up to North Georgia to go camping! God made such beautiful places!

My two guys found this to cut up for our fire!

Our campsite all set up.

Hudson & Zoe in our tent.

All of us in our tent. Not long after this we realized it was too cold, too rainy, and I was too pregnant to rough it! We decided to "rough" it at Grandmama's house!

North Georgia State Fair

We got up this morning and took Hudson to the fair. They had free admission and free rides from 10 AM-11 AM. Then from 11 AM- 2 PM it was 2 for the price of one. We had a blast! After about 3 rides, Hudson and I ran into his "girlfriend" from school. She is a DOLL!!!! Her family is super nice, and we all traveled together from ride to ride after running into each other. It felt like we were chaperoning a date...they just kept running from ride to ride. It was so cute!

This is the point in time we ran into his friend. Isn't she precious?

Look at her face! This was her face on most of the rides! :-)
