Weekend of Family and Fun!

Grandpa spent the night with us on Tuesday night. He was in town on business, and Hudson had a GREAT time with him. They played until almost midnight! Hudson has never laughed so hard!

Then we spent the end of the week in McRae visiting Josh's parents. Hudson rode their horse, "Red." He was scared at first, but he got on with Josh and LOVED it. We had such a good visit with 'Ma, 'Pa, & Kobe.

We left McRae and headed to Moultrie for Haley and Ret's wedding. It was so fun. Here are a few pictures from the wedding.

This next video is thanks to Cat. She taught Hudson these things. We think they are very funny!!!! The first video is really dark, but you can hear what they are saying. Hudson said this to 'Ma out of the blue on Thursday. Thankfully, 'Ma was good hearted about it and didn't get mad. :)

Wild Animal Safari

We went to Pine Mountain today to surprise my mom for her birthday. She had NO idea where we were going until we pulled up to the front of the park. We rented one of their vans, and we were SO glad we did as the animals got slobber and mud all over the side of the vehicle. It was really one of THE coolest things I have ever done. You could buy food, so we bought two bags to feed the animals. They know each car has food, so they come up to the window and stick their heads in as far as they can. Hudson LOVED it! We then came back to my house for lunch followed by cake and ice cream. It was really a day we will never forget. I hope my mom had a good birthday. I probably don't say it enough, but she was a WONDERFUL mother and if I am any good at mothering Hudson it is because of her. I love her!

Enjoy the video.

Fun Things

Here are a few pictures of the cake we made for Grandmama's birthday. Hudson helped me, and when we were finished he was SO very proud!!!! Also, as promised, here is the video I took of Hudson doing the "somersault" Grandmama taught him. He does it so very well...I'm not sure if you can tell from the video, but he's pretty straight with them. I'm so very proud. He is such a fun little boy! I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!

Delicious!!!

Such a big word for a little boy...but he uses it often. The first time was when he was on an antibiotic, and I asked him if it was good. He looked up at me and said, "Delicious." So this video was after dinner one night when Mom and Cat were over. Hudson was eating his cookie, and I asked him "How is it?" He said, "Delicious" and Cat exploded with laughter. Mom and I were used to him saying it, but she had never heard it. We all shared a great laugh. Be on the lookout: Tomorrow I am going to try to upload a video of Hudson doing his forward roll that Grandmama taught him. He's pretty amazing at it! I'm quite stunned at how PERFECTLY straight it is!
